I lived in Germany
before coming to the States, while there a friend of mine living in Salt
Lake City; invited me to come work with him in his business in Utah. I
decided this could be a good opportunity for me, so I sold what I had and
moved to Utah.
When I arrived, I found that my friend was away on business and I had
waited as long as I could before I ran out of money. I found myself
looking for work and heard that a new locally owned restaurant was
opening.
I went there to
apply for a job but the owner was not around, so I stood in the
parking lot for 3 hours waiting to see if I could get an interview. The
time came that I met with them and it was not long before they hired me,
I then worked there for the next 16 years learning all I could about
running a restaurant, learning the secrets of great tasting Greek and
American food. Discovering the importance of how to treat a customer
right, and to put plenty of proper care and precision into the prepping
of the food.
This was 25 years
ago in January that I started my endeavors in the restaurant career. Nine
years ago I opened up Jumbo Burgers on 12th street in Ogden, UT.
Spending over 12 hours a day, being there always for my customers. Now,
God has blessed me with the opportunity to OPEN a new location in Farr West, UT.
Just off Interstate I-15, exit 352. This new location has a pleasant and
beautiful environment and at the same time we have GREAT tasting, fresh
food delivered at fast food speed.
